2015 VALECDICTORY SERVICE OF LIBERTY BELLS COLLEGE

July 21, 2015

Liberty Bells College, outgoing class of 2015, recently held its valedictory service with a lot of  pomp and fanfare.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and happy parents, who were glad to witness this significant event in the lives of their children. The class comprised 8 students, with 2 boys and 6 girls.

In her address, the school’s Director (Mrs J E Akpata) who was represented by Mrs E Osoata (School Administrator) congratulated the graduates and charged them to be good ambassadors of their alma mater. She said graduates should follow the paths of their predecessors by distinguishing themselves in their academic and personal pursuits after graduation.

The principal, Mrs. Ijeoma Omotoye, wished all graduating students success in their future endeavours, and expressed the hope that they would keep in touch with Liberty Bells College and its activities by browsing the school’s website regularly.

She expressed her appreciation to the staff as well as  parents who helped to nurture the children to their current levels.

The occasion was graced by Mr. Paul Nwabisi, a parent, who was the guest speaker and chairman of the day. Mr Nwabisi admonished the students to aspire to greater heights and encouraged them to always look back at their school and seek ways to improve the school.

Olateju Love Oloade emerged as the best student over-all in academics, having achieved the best results in English Language, Mathematics and science subjects.

The duo of Osoata Osamudiame and Enosakhare osayamen Senior Secondary One students stole the show when they were called to pick up prizes in various subjects. Prizes were also given to students from other classes to the admiration of invited guests and parents. It was heartwarming to see fathers gracing the valedictory service in large numbers, unlike the experience in similar

ceremonies in the past.

The graduating head girl, Olateju Love praised the school for its high moral standards as well as its relentless efforts at giving children a strong academic foundation. Graduating students joined in a final farewell song to bring the memorable occasion to an end.
